Hand-made flaws

I (Lauren Andrews) take great measures in trying to prevent any/all flaws (such as protecting works of art, maintaining a clean work station and "drying station", and keeping all materials clean; however, because hand-made products are "hand made", they are expected to have flaws. Such flaws include (but are not limited to): surface defects, scratches, bubbles, color discrepancies and/or fading, size/dimensional discrepancies, uneven layers, and small floating particles in the finished work. Resin-made products are no exception to such imperfections. Additionally, the chemical properties/characteristics of resin can vary based on brand and/or batch. Epoxy resin is subject to naturally yellowing/fading over time and in exposure to certain environmental conditions (such as prolonged exposure to the sun and/or heat). And although, LA resin art has no control over such manufacturing or environmental conditions, I (Lauren Andrews) do my best in trying to prevent such outcomes by only using high-quality resin and pigments. Everything sold as LA resin art has been created using a combination of Craft Resin and Stone Coat Countertop's Art Coat resin, both of which are HIGHLY valued for their UV  and fade-resistant properties. Both resins cure to a high gloss, scratch resistant finish and offer great heat resistance. And because Stone Coat Countertop's resin has a higher heat resistance (425 degrees Fahrenheit), it is used as the final, protective top-coat for every product sold here, at LA resin art.
