Caring for Your Resin-Made Creation

For all Things Resin

All cured resin art can be cleaned the same way you would glass. Spray a mild glass cleaner onto the resin and wipe clean with a soft cloth, microfiber towel, or paper towel. For tougher spots, use a mild soap (dish soap is a great option) with warm water and wipe away using a soft cloth or microfiber towel.

** Note: Never clean your resin creation using isopropyl alcohol, as alcohol breaks down resin, which can lead to a dulled or even sticky surface

Resin-Painted Wood Trays

For all wooden serving trays, wipe down resin-painted areas with a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth, microfiber towel, or paper towel. For tougher spots, use a mild soap with warm water and wipe away messes using a microfiber towel or soft cloth.

The entire rest of the wooden serving tray may be cleaned with mild soap and warm water. Keep in mind, all wooden serving trays are sealed with an oil-based polyeurathane before and after resin-pouring. Although durable, Polyeurathane sealed products should only ever be washed by hand.

For all wooden cheese/charcuterie trays, hand-wash entire tray using a mild dish soap and warm water. Do not clean in the dishwasher. Re-apply cutting board oil and wax every 1-2 months to non resin-painted areas.
